Why I had to add the PayPal fees to payments
Here is an explanation why I had to add the PayPal charges to transactions.
I was running Raastas.com on a loss for past months. Because PayPal charges me 3.9% + 0.30 USD for every transaction. Since I have only ability to add 10% markup for raastas, the paypal charges are more then the 10% markup. So with every Raastas sent I was chipping in from my pocket. And since my PayPal account in not in Maldives and the cost to wire the money back to Maldives is also high, to minimize the loss and to keep Online Raastas service running I have added the PayPal charges to every transaction.
